Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Coordinator to join our team in Karratha.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Transport Manager and Operations Supervisor to schedule daily fleet activity, ensuring maximum asset utilisation across our fleet of trucks and specialised equipment.
This position plays a critical role in the successful operation of our business and requires an exceptional communicator with high-level interpersonal skills who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor the movement of the fleet to ensure safe, cost-effective, and reliable distribution of freight.
* Oversee heavy haulage requirements and road transport over dimensional permit requirements.
* Route planning and assessing routes for permit applications.
* Ensure compliance with load restraint requirements and driver fatigue regulations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* Experience in a similar role within the transport industry.
* Demonstrated people leadership experience.
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working within Transport Management Systems.
* Familiarity with the Pilbara region.
* National Police Clearance (valid within 6 months).
