Your new role: In this role, you will contribute to high-quality patient care by providing advanced pharmacy assistant services and supporting education and training initiatives across the pharmacy team, with responsibilities including: * Delivering a defined range of advanced pharmacy services for patients with complex conditions under pharmacist delegation * Providing education to patients on medication use and medication aids * Supporting, mentoring and supervising less experienced and new pharmacy assistants * Coordinating and contributing to pharmacy education and training activities in collaboration with clinical educators * Participating in quality improvement activities and promoting patient safety and service excellence * Working as part of a multidisciplinary team and liaising with internal and external healthcare providers * Supporting medication supply and repeat medication services for long-term patients as appropriate About you: You will be a motivated and experienced pharmacy assistant who brings advanced knowledge, strong communication skills and a commitment to quality care, with: * Demonstrated advanced pharmacy knowledge, including medical terminology, medication use and healthcare systems * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to supervise, mentor and work effectively within a team * Experience contributing to education, training or quality improvement activities under pharmacist guidance * A patient-focused approach and ability to support people with varying levels of health literacy * Certificate IV in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support (or equivalent), including the HLTPA001 module Check out our quick tips and application essentials!
