We’re looking for an experienced Design Draftsperson to join our dynamic team. So if you are either a Draftsperson looking for a greater challenge to take on a more senior role, or an experienced Draftsperson looking for a change of scenery, please reach out to our team!
About the role
An exciting opportunity has presented itself for the right candidate to become part of the team at B1 Homes. Day to day responsibilities include:
- Production of sales sketches and design concepts using ArchiCAD
- Collaboration with Sales and Design Consultants to refine concepts
- Contribute in the development of new standard product and display homes
- Liaise with local government authorities and land developers
Skills and experience
- 2 years minimum experience in a residential drafting or design role with a project home builder (design experience isn’t essential, the role would suit a draftsperson looking to make the move into design).
- Strong understanding of R Codes, developer requirements and NCC (including keeping up to date with relevant changes).
- Sound Archicad knowledge.
- Strong communication skills to maintain relationships with all key stakeholders.
- Must display strong attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously.
- Ability and willingness to work to deadlines.
