About your new company: My client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Fleet Allocator to support the day-to-day movement of freight across a busy logistics operation. This role plays a key part in ensuring deliveries are scheduled efficiently, resources are well utilised, and service levels are consistently met. Working within a fast-paced transport environment, you will be responsible for coordinating driver activity, managing transport schedules, and supporting seamless communication between warehouse, yard, and operations teams. About your new role: Your duties will include but won't be limited to the following - Plan and coordinate daily transport runs, allocating drivers and resources to meet delivery timeframes Maintain accurate scheduling and booking information within the Transport Management System (TMS) Support operational compliance by monitoring fatigue management requirements and ensuring safe rostering practices Act as a key link between various departments such as Warehouse and Operations Ensure all transport activities are completed in line with internal safety frameworks and regulatory requirements Assist in troubleshooting delays or disruptions and implementing practical solutions in real time Contribute to continuous improvement of dispatch and transport processes About You: Previous experience in transport coordination, dispatch, or allocation within logistics or supply chain operations Strong understanding of transport scheduling principles, ideally within a high-volume, chilled or temperature controlled distribution environment Experience using Transport Management Systems is essential Good knowledge of driver fatigue legislation and safe rostering practices High level of computer literacy and confidence working with multiple systems Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a time-sensitive environment Calm, solution-focused approach when dealing with operational challenges Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service mindset Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team-based environment What's in it for you: Opportunity to join a stable and growing organisation with genuine career progression pathways Great company culture, supportive and encouraging Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for wellbeing support A dynamic environment where no two days are the same If this sounds like the right next step for you, 'APPLY NOW' or contact Julie Luszczynski via julieluszczynski@westrecruitment.com.au or 0483 945 776 for further information and a confidential conversation.
