1. Frame Assembly
* Assemble light gauge steel components into wall panels, floor frames, and roof trusses.
* Install studs, tracks, noggings, bracing, and connectors according to shop drawings.
* Use self-drilling screws and power screw guns to fasten steel components.
* Ensure components are aligned and assembled according to detailed production drawings.
2. Material Handling
* Safely move steel members and assembled panels within the factory.
* Assist with stacking, packaging, and preparing frames for transportation.
* Operate lifting equipment such as trolleys or forklifts when authorised.
3. Quality Control
* Check assembled panels for correct dimensions and squareness.
* Verify screw fixing locations and connections according to design requirements.
* Report any missing or incorrect components to the production supervisor.
4. Workplace Safety
* Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
* Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace to ensure safe operations.
Pay: $24.95 – $39.66 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 38 per week
