The role
Grant Hood Contracting is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) / Estimator to manage cost estimation, tendering, and financial control across civil construction projects.
Key responsibilities included:
* Preparing detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects
* Tender analysis and bid preparation
* Cost control, risk and value management
* Liaising with project managers, clients, and suppliers
* Maintaining accurate project documentation
Skills and experience required:
* Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying (or related field)
* Approximately 3+ years' experience in civil construction
* Strong estimating and costing software knowledge
* High level of accuracy, communication, and commercial awareness
