General Practitioner - Cairns, Queensland

38 hours per week Practice Information: The practice is currently seeking a full-time
General Practitioner to join the GP-owned practice in Cairns. They are a mixed billing practice and bulk billing Cairns locals medical appointments and privately billed Skin Checks and procedures. This new and freshly renovated Medical and Skin Cancer clinic is in a prime position on a busy street and boasts a modern work environment with a friendly full-time nursing and administration staff.
On-site Pathology collection with access to diabetes support and audiology testing, with pharmacy and other allied health nearby. Position Description: They cater to a wide demographic, and the successful applicant will offer full spectrum care to patients including chronic disease management, Work Cover, ATSI Assessments, family health and DVA.
Existing provision exists for a GP with special interest in Skin Cancer, but other special interest areas would be supported. Position Requirements:
Current registration with AHPRA Experience as a General Practitioner or similar medical role
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and time-management skills Familiarity with computerised medical software, in particular
