Pool Store Manager Job Description
The Poll Shop Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pool store.
* Assist customers with their in-store and over phone pool enquiries
* Complete water tests on pool and spa samples, provide customers with advice on how to maintain a healthy pool
* Advise customers on selection of correct pool equipment
* Corresponding with staff and customers to co-ordinate onsite service schedules
* Manage inventory
* Ordering stock for shop and mobile Technicians
* Maintain shop presentation & stock levels on display
* Managing staff and rosters
* Working autonomously & together with other team members to maintain a well-organized shop
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction
* Coordinating and managing all aspects of the pool store including inventory, stock ordering, and employee management
* Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive business growth
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
* Knowledge and Experience in the Pool Industry preferred
* Product knowledge and water chemistry
* Help customers troubleshoot pool and equipment problems
* Must be very well organised
* Must be able to work productively as part of a team and also autonomously
* Must be proficient & thorough with admin tasks
* Must have a friendly personality & be willing to get to know & help our customers
* Must have a high level of computer literacy. Knowledge of POS and MYOB advantageous
* Must be able to multi-task while prioritising work by order of importance
* Physical fitness to carry goods up to 20kg
