About the role?
Key Responsibilities:
* Properly cleaning and sanitising all food preparation areas according to established standards of hygiene.
* Washing, drying and appropriately storing all cooking appliances, instruments, utensils, cutting boards, and dishes.
* Assisting the Chef with the preparation of meal ingredients, which includes washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, and chopping fruit, vegetables, and meat.
* Sweeping and mopping the kitchen floors as well as wiping down kitchen walls.
* Assisting with the unloading of delivered food supplies.
* Organising and correctly storing food supplies.
* Promptly transferring meal ingredients from storage areas to the kitchen as per the Chef's instructions.
Who we're looking for:
You have a passion for food and cooking.
At least 6 months experience as a kitchen hand is preferred.
You have the ability to work well under pressure both autonomously and within a team.

Positive and committed to learning
Well presented and punctual
Must have weekday and weekend availability
Excellent spoken and written English
Must be available during the holiday period, Thursday nights and weekends.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour
