**Job Description:**
This role requires strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage resources remotely. You will work with a diverse team of laboratory professionals, implement global standard operating procedures (SOPs), administer projects, and contribute to the strategic planning and development of laboratories worldwide.
You will be responsible for:
* Global Laboratory Operations: Coordinate activities in multiple locations to ensure standardized operations. Leverage technology and communication tools to monitor and manage laboratory resources and schedules remotely.
* Project Administration: Administer and oversee the planning, execution, and completion of continuous improvement and small projects in collaboration with Metallurgical, Project Management, and Project Delivery teams.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Strong interpersonal skills with a passion to make a difference in the industry.
* Strong project administration skills, with the ability to administer and oversee laboratory projects from inception to completion.
* Proficient in using virtual collaboration tools and other relevant software.
* Knowledge of laboratory and test work techniques, equipment, and safety protocols would be advantageous.
* Tertiary qualification in a scientific or engineering discipline is preferred.
* Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
