AusAG Rural is a trusted provider of specialist rural recruitment support for farmers and graziers across Australia.
Due to increased demand, we are now seeking another motivated Rural Recruitment Assistant to join our team on a casual basis, working 20 hours per week.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Recruitment Supervisor and Director while enjoying the flexibility of operating from your own home office.
The successful candidate will take ownership of managing candidate applications, liaising with both clients and jobseekers, and preparing tailored shortlists for rural vacancies.
Occasional travel to our Pittsworth office may be required for training and IT support, offering a valuable opportunity to connect with our team.
RURAL RECRUITMENT ASSISTANT, DOWNS REGION QLD
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of applications efficiently, using strong time management and organisational skills.
- Review and understand rural job requirements to accurately assess candidates.
- Communicate professionally with clients and applicants via phone, email, and CRM systems.
- Prepare clear, literate candidate profiles and shortlists for clients.
- Maintain reliable internet and phone access during work hours.
- Uphold strict confidentiality at all times.
Selection Criteria
- Proven administrative and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn CRM platforms.
- Strong written communication, quick & accurate typing, and attention to detail.
- A background in Australian agriculture and an understanding of what employers in the sector value in candidates.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a small remote team.
- Professional, personable communication and excellent multitasking ability.
- Residence within the Southern, Central, or Western Downs region (QLD), with capacity to attend training in Pittsworth if required.
- A dedicated private home office suitable for uninterrupted remote work.
Additional Particulars
- Casual, remote role - 9am to 1pm Monday to Friday (flexibility available).
- Company phone and laptop provided.
