The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Strategic Planning professional, to join our team in the position of Planning Proposals Team Leader for a period of up to 12 months. Directly reporting to the Strategic Planning Coordinator, and joining a team of 7, you will play a key role in assisting the team in improving the physical, environmental social and economic amenity of our community. As Team Leader, you will provide leadership and mentorship to 3 Strategic Planners. This is a contract opportunity commencing immediately for a period of up to 12 months. Secondment opportunities will be considered.
* This is a contract opportunity – working full-time 35 hours / week + access to a flexible working arrangement
* Total Remuneration Package Range: $145,514 to $166,874 pa based on 35 hours / week (inclusive of 12% superannuation + $19,364 motor vehicle allowance + $2,464 retention allowance)
* You will be working from PSC Administration Building, Raymond Terrace

* A degree qualification in town planning, urban design or associated equivalent
* Demonstrated experience in the planning and development industry
* Demonstrated professional written communication skills including sound word processing abilities
