Food Production Supervisor Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Food Production Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our production staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and high-quality production of food items for airline passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and motivate a team of production staff, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants, in executing food preparation, cooking, and packaging processes.
* Work closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team to ensure that all meals are prepared according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
* Monitor and maintain the highest levels of food safety and hygiene, strictly following industry regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
* Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* 3+ years' experience in the field of manufacturing and manufacturing processes, preferably complex food production environments, such as airline catering.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
