About the Role
We are currently looking for an Account Manager / Business Development Manager to join our Sales team to support and accelerate our growth ambitions in the renewable energy sector. This hybrid role will combine account management and new business development responsibilities, focusing on the Australian Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and clean energy market.
Experience in BESS, solar, renewable energy, utilities, EPC, or channel development is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
* Lead business expansion for battery energy storage system in Australia.
* Drive product market access, certification and customer approval processes.
* Develop and manage channel partners, including distributors, EPCs, installers and developers.
* Identify, manage, and close project opportunities in BESS and renewable energy sectors.
* Lead project operations from opportunity creation to contract signing and delivery coordination.
* Build strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
* Monitor market trends, policy updates, and competitor activities.
Requirements
* Solid understanding of the Australian battery energy storage and renewable energy market, including household, unity scales, industrial&commercial fields;
* Proven experience in product entry, channel development and project capture.
* Strong network experience with distributors, EPCs, developers or utilities is preferred.
* Hands‐on experience in BESS, solar or clean energy projects.
* Strong commercial, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Self-driven and able to work independently.
