We are seeking a professional with strong judgment and experience in integrity and employee conduct matters. In this role, you will assess immediate and emerging risks and apply key integrity frameworks, including corruption and misconduct, public interest disclosures and human rights obligations.
Ideal candidates will possess knowledge of integrity frameworks such as CCC, PID, CaPE, and human rights, as well as the ability to draft professional correspondence and build capacity within teams.
Experience with RESOLVE is appreciated but can be developed on the job.
About The Role
The Human Resources Consultant will play a pivotal role in delivering operational advice and consultancy services across various HR functions within the Metropolitan North Region. Reporting to the Director, HR Operations, this role supports schools and regional workplaces in implementing systemic priorities and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Providing operational advice and support on diverse HR matters, including recruitment, onboarding, grievance resolution, and organisational wellbeing.
* Monitoring and supporting HR systems and services to ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and standards.
* Assisting schools with workforce management practices and supporting selection panels during recruitment processes.
* Building capacity within regional workplaces through coaching and professional development sessions.
* Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying trends and issues in HR processes.
About You
The following traits would be beneficial:
* Knowledge of integrity frameworks such as CCC, PID, CaPE, and human rights.
* Experience in drafting professional correspondence, including reminders of obligations.
* Confidence in managing performance and conduct matters.
* Ability to coach and build capacity within HR teams and school leadership teams.
* Willingness to undertake ongoing professional development to maintain expertise.
