About the Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will add value to the business and our clients by:
* Advising managers on a range of employment issues e.g., performance management, misconduct, restructures, redundancies, absence and lateness, employee conflict
* Participating in onsite or virtual meetings with managers and employees in relation to issues that arise, including termination meetings
* Leading the implementation of the HR administration and compliance solution, which involves: HR audit, developing templates, policies, contracts, procedures and implementing the HR system
* Leading a small group of clients, working across the full range of HR activities we deliver
* Researching and preparing communication to clients on HR updates e.g. legislation changes or relevant case findings
* Conducting ad-hoc investigations into matters relating to bullying, harassment and sexual harassment
* Mentoring, coaching and training internal HR staff
Selection Criteria
* Strong knowledge of employment legislation, including unfair dismissal and general protections and experience dealing with a range of employee matters, such as: under performance, misconduct, redundancies, investigations.
* Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with managers and business owners to find the best solution for their situation.
