The key duties of the position include The Library is seeking to fill an ongoing Recruitment Manager APS6 role in the Human Resources (HR) Section of the Corporate Branch. The Recruitment Manager partners with business areas across the Library to strategically manage the workforce. It oversees the operational recruitment functions associated with sourcing and selecting talent and manages a small team performing administrative functions. It also plays a key role to ensure the policies and procedures are aligned with APS legislation and best practice. We are looking for a manager with proven experience working with senior leaders to plan and deliver recruitment services. Strong technical knowledge of legislation, HR recruitment and onboarding systems is critical. To succeed in this role you will need: an in-depth knowledge of the APS employment framework including strategic recruitment strategies and initiatives. thorough understanding of related HR practices and strategies including remuneration and the Library's enterprise agreement.
