About This Position
LPOD Officers are responsible for managing access at international boarding gates, conducting thorough searches, and monitoring restricted areas to ensure flight integrity in accordance with established security standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Screen and inspect property, catering items, and aircraft meticulously.
* Oversee access control and verify travel documentation at designated checkpoints.
* Maintain accurate security records.
* Provide professional customer service, assist with lost property, and respond to queries in a courteous manner.
* Support health, safety, and operational procedures, including regular training and compliance activities.
Requirements
* Ability to obtain an ASIC Card.
* Security Licence (relevant state or territory).
* Effective communication skills, professionalism, and ability to work varied shifts.
* Strong attention to detail, integrity, and commitment to confidentiality.
* Customer service experience, preferably in regulated environments or aviation security.
