Specifically involved around the carrot washing division of the Business, we are looking for a motivated, hard-working person with a "can-do" attitude who is always willing to lend a hand to assist in the everyday production requirements.
The role includes but is not limited to:
* A commitment to Monday-Friday plus some Saturday mornings (dependent on Buyers orders).
* Correctly and safely operating the Forklifts
* Co-ordinate supply and packing of raw produce
* Operation and general maintenance of equipment
* Oversee carrot washing operations
* Load and unload products and supplies on and off of trucks.
* Help maintain general orderliness and cleanliness of the packing shed area, storage areas, coolers and other work areas.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
* Be self motivated and able to work in a fast paced work environment
* Valid Australian work visa or appropriate work authorisation
* Prior experience with packing vegetables will be highly regarded
* Work practically and manually using skills and knowledge
* Able to cope with the physical demands of the position
* Able to work within a team, lead a team or autonomously
* Mechanical aptitude
* Current LF Forklift Licence is essential
* Previous experience within a high volume warehouse or packing shed advantageous
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Understanding and knowledge of WHS
