Overview
We are seeking a Part-Time Receptionist, 25 hours per week, who aligns with our values and focuses on delivering a high-quality patient experience from arrival to departure.
Jerrabomberra Medical Centre forms part of Partnered Health Medical Centres, one of Australia’s leading primary healthcare providers with over 60 clinics located throughout metropolitan and regional locations. You will be responsible for greeting patients, supporting doctors and nurses, answering calls, triage and booking appointments, billing, and administrative tasks. You will receive a dedicated training program upon commencement, including a full orientation and induction, online compliance training, and support from your Practice Manager and colleagues.
We ensure that you have the necessary skills and training to provide consistent and quality patient service to ensure your success in the role.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and support doctors and nurses
- Answer calls, triage and book appointments
- Billing and administrative tasks
- Provide consistent, high-quality patient service
- Participate in the training program and onboarding
What we need from you
- Previous medical administration or reception experience (well regarded)
- Exceptional customer service skills and cultural sensitivity
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Current vaccination and immunisation status
- Intermediate computer knowledge and skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to ethical behaviour and conduct
- Weekend work usually Sunday 9am to 1pm is required
