About the Position
We are seeking a full-time Law Graduate (Family Law) to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will have completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) and be currently undertaking their Practical Legal Training (PLT), with anticipated completion after July 2026.
This role offers hands-on exposure to a broad range of family law matters and the opportunity to work closely with the firm’s Principal, Mark Davies. You will receive direct mentorship and meaningful responsibility in a firm that genuinely prioritises wellbeing, work-life balance, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with family law matters including parenting disputes, property settlements, divorce, and family violence matters
* Legal research
* Drafting correspondence
* Preparing Court documents & assisting with Court preparation
* Compiling briefs to counsel
* Client liaison and file management
* Answer and direct phone calls
* Meeting and greeting clients and guests
* Providing support to a team of lawyers
* Other administrative tasks as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD);
* Currently undertaking Practical Legal Training (PLT) with an estimated completion after July 2026;
* Prior legal experience (including administrative and paralegal experience, preferably in family law);
* A genuine interest in family law;
* Strong drafting skills with attention to detail;
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
* Strong interpersonal and organisational skills;
* Experience with LEAP Practice Management Software (desirable but not essential).
