Job Description:
We are currently seeking a professional to operate and maintain cellar equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain cellar equipment including finings and additions, CO2 & N2 sparging and sampling, cooling and heating of tanks, filtering of wine, centrifuging and floatation's, and wine transfers throughout the cellar areas.
* Maintain clear and effective data recording systems.
* Assist other cellar operators and operation areas as required.
* Adhere to company policies and behaviors at all times.
* Evaluate and implement compliance with the food safety and quality management system in the cellar.
Requirements:
* Experience in the wine industry is preferred but not essential.
* A forklift license would be beneficial.
* A strong understanding of food production regulations is necessary to ensure compliance.
* Excellent communication skills are required to work effectively with team members.
* The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities is essential.
* The ability to lift up to 15kg safely is also required.
Shift Availability:
Peak season shifts: 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am from December to May. Non-peak shifts: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am from June to November.
