Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our integrated team of marketing, account management, and business development professionals. In this pivotal role, you will drive revenue growth, enhance brand visibility, and foster long‐term client relationships within the networking and cyber security sectors. Reporting directly to the executive leadership, you will oversee strategies that leverage our in‐house digital marketing capabilities to generate high‐quality leads and convert them into successful projects for our diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities
* Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate a cross‐functional team including marketing specialists, account managers, and business development representatives. Foster a collaborative environment focused on achieving sales targets and marketing goals.
* Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to expand market share in government, enterprise, and education sectors. Identify new business opportunities, manage the sales pipeline, and close deals that align with client needs in networking and cyber security solutions.
* Marketing Oversight: Direct modern digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, content marketing, social media campaigns, email automation, and analytics‐driven lead generation. Ensure all efforts are data‐informed and optimized for maximum ROI.
* Account Management: Oversee client relationship management, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and upsell opportunities. Collaborate with account managers to deliver personalized service and address evolving client requirements.
* Business Development: Spearhead partnerships, alliances, and networking efforts to build a robust ecosystem of opportunities. Analyze market trends in cyber security and networking to inform proactive outreach.
* Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish KPIs for sales, marketing, and business development activities. Monitor performance, generate reports, and provide insights to senior leadership to refine strategies.
* Budget Management: Manage departmental budgets, allocating resources effectively across marketing campaigns, sales tools, and team development initiatives.
* Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all activities adhere to industry regulations, ethical standards, and company policies, particularly in sensitive sectors like government and education.
Qualifications and Skills
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., in cyber security or sales management) is highly desirable.
* Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years in sales and marketing roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position within the IT, networking, or cyber security industry. Proven track record in B2B sales to government, enterprise, and education clients.
* Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of networking technologies (e.g., LAN/WAN, cloud networking) and cyber security solutions (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection, encryption). Familiarity with systems integration, managed services, and emerging AI applications in security automation and operations.
* Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated success in leading diverse teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to inspire and drive results in a fast‐paced environment.
* Digital Marketing Expertise: Proficiency in modern digital tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, LinkedIn Ads, SEO tools). Experience in lead generation and conversion optimization.
