Head Chef Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Head Chef to lead our culinary vision across multiple restaurants and dining experiences.
This role involves creating and presenting dishes that delight, with consistent excellence, and overseeing kitchen operations, including stock and waste control, scheduling, food costing, and staffing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for upholding strict health and safety standards, ensuring a spotless kitchen environment, and inspiring and mentoring their team to deliver standout dining experiences and unique, signature menus.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the culinary vision across multiple restaurants and dining experiences
* Create and present dishes that delight, with consistent excellence
* Oversee kitchen operations, including stock and waste control, scheduling, food costing, and staffing
* Uphold strict health and safety standards, ensuring a spotless kitchen environment
* Inspire and mentor their team to deliver standout dining experiences and unique, signature menus
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Head Chef, ideally within a similar setting
* Background in fine dining, with high-level culinary skills
* Formal trade qualifications in commercial cooking or equivalent hands-on experience
* Strong skills in electronic purchasing, cost management, and budgeting
* Proven track record in menu planning and development
* Excellent preparation and organizational skills
* Current First Aid Certificate (highly desirable)
* Essential HACCP experience, with a focus on food safety and hygiene
* A current driver's license
