client, a reputable provider of aged care, are looking for an experienced,
enthusiastic and passionate People & Culture Business Partner to support
across their East Melbourne locations.

Responsibilities
· Providing advice on employment matters including
interpretation of enterprise agreements and relevant awards
· Identifying and analyse problems and alternative
solutions, to recommend a course of action and implement as required
· Ensuring that change processes are compliant and
managed in accordance with company policies and the industrial framework
· Consulting constructively with employees and
unions during change processes including proactively identifying opportunities
for redeployment where appropriate
· Ensuring complete and accurate drafting of
correspondence, records and documentation of all matters
· Providing advice, guidance and support to
managers and employees on dispute, grievance, disciplinary and performance
matters
· Investigating disputes, grievances, disciplinary
and performance matters, and liaise with union or other employee
representatives as required
· Coordinating and managing projects associated
with People Services
· Assisting with recruitment processes as required
· Analysis and reporting including preparation of
key HR Metrics including quarterly audits, turnover statistics
· Reviewing and updating of wages schedules
· Working effectively with all parts of the
organisation including senior managers, care managers, team leaders and staff
in implementing change and managing critical incidents
· Participating actively and positively in
the area of health and safety to reduce all hazards and incidents within the
workplace
Your Profile
· Tertiary qualifications in human resources and /
or industrial relations or equivalent industry experience
· Extensive experience with Employee Relations
· Strong understanding of Fair Work, and proven experience with this
· Outstanding communication, problem solving,
influencing and negotiation skills, including the capacity to facilitate
resolutions of complaints
· Experience and expertise in interpretation of
awards and agreements
· Experience within change management; Planning
and implementing a range of organisational change situations
· Ability to problem solve effectively
· Capacity to work effectively with a diverse
range of people
· A satisfactory National Criminal Police Record
Check (PRC) is required prior to commencement
· Current working With Children Check (VIC)
· An obligation to have an annual vaccination(s)
as per our vaccination policy
· Capacity and willingness to travel throughout
Victoria as required
