Role Description
The role will work closely with our Project teams throughout the project lifecycle in providing the overall architectural and technical leadership that ensures the approved solution architectures are implemented, and overall integrity of the solution designs including consistency across architecture domains, are assured. This role is responsible for providing timely accurate architectural guidance to project stakeholders and deliver solution designs in alignment with strategy and solution scope expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop enterprise integration strategies and architectures, ensuring alignment with our customer’s enterprise architecture priorities, and provide middleware technology expertise and guidance to these stakeholders.
* Develop and maintain project solution architectures, ensuring alignment with client strategic priorities, and to provide advice to stakeholders.
* Highlight and manage technology and delivery dependencies, issues and risks and mitigating/managing where required.
* Participate in planning, architecture and design meetings to represent interests in supporting re-use and adoption of fit-for-purpose technologies and solutions.
* Participate in UST’s architecture and technology Chapters, forums and community of practice meetings.
* Contribute to UST’s Integration, solution, and automation architecture capability domains and market strategy.
* Contribute to UST’s strategic direction of technology investment to assist in the development of our go-to-market offering.
Required Skills And Experience
* Minimum of 15 years professional IT experience with at least 5 years as Solution Architect within the Integration domain.
* Broad knowledge of technologies and applications utilising Integration Platforms, such as Workato, webMethods, webSphere, TIBCO, Red Hat, Azure, AWS, Boomi or other open-source frameworks, solutions, and tools.
* Experience in architecting solution for private, public and hybrid cloud models and architecture, including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and other cloud services.
* Experience in working in the government or high-regulatory environment.
* Demonstrable experience in working with large corporate IT operations, major IT programs, systems integration and technical architecture.
* Demonstrable experience in collaborating with project managers, business analysts, technical specialists, architects, and vendors to create integrated end-to-end solution options, with a focus on applying architecture standards, principles, and alignment with client’s expectation.
* Demonstrator experience in leading a team to delivery focus on all work to ensure that the desired business outcomes are met.
* Can work autonomously, navigating through complexity and ambiguity.
* To "think outside of box" and challenge conventional wisdom regarding the use of technology to solve business problem.
