We are seeking a Cyber Security Architect to play a key role in Defence.
This position reports to the Cyber Security Manager and the Integrated Product Manager. You will lead the development and delivery of a cyber security architecture and supporting documentation to align, consolidate and rationalise multiple complex Air Command and Control (Air C2) systems for certification and accreditation.
The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders across Defence, including:
IC3SPO CAF16 and RAAF units (Air Warfare Centre, RAAF Squadrons, Certification Authority)
Department of Defence and CIOG (security architecture, certification and accreditation functions)
What you will bring:
Proven experience as a Security Specialist or Architect in large and complex ICT programs
Strong technical knowledge of ICT and security architecture across the technology stack
Expertise applying key frameworks and standards: PSPF, ISM, DSPF, NIST SP-800, ISO 27000
Excellent technical writing skills
Strong interpersonal, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to work independently under broad direction to deliver outcomes
Highly regarded:
Familiarity with Defence cyber-worthiness concepts
Experience with architecture frameworks (DODAF, TOGAF, SABSA, UAF)
Defence ICT and cyber security background
Understanding of the One Defence Capability System
