Key Responsibilities
* Interpret and identify parts using CAT systems, manuals and catalogues to accurately source required components.
* Provide parts advice and solutions to customers, technicians and service teams with accurate guidance and product knowledge.
* Process customer transactions – complete orders, quotes, invoices and credits accurately and efficiently.
* Manage parts availability – monitor stock levels, backorders and follow‐ups to ensure timely supply.
* Maintain accurate records – contribute to stock control and ensure all documentation and data entry are precise.
* Deliver exceptional customer service – assist customers professionally while upholding safety and quality standards.
* After‐hours duties – participate in on‐call responsibilities to provide parts support and operate forklifts for both dispatch and receiving of parts after‐hours.
Requirements
* Experienced Parts Interpreter – previous experience in heavy equipment, automotive, mining or industrial environments.
* Strong mechanical aptitude – solid understanding of mechanical concepts.
* CAT systems knowledge – experience with CAT systems or similar OEM platforms is highly desirable.
* Willingness to participate in on‐call duties – available for after‐hours support once fully trained.
* Excellent customer service and communication – interact professionally with customers, technicians and internal teams.
* Licences an advantage – holding a current driver's licence and forklift licence is preferred.
* High attention to detail – maintain accuracy in documentation, stock control and daily tasks.
* Team‐focused and adaptable – work effectively with others while managing competing priorities.
