Japanese- Speaking Associate/Analyst - Corporate FX

The client is a major international bank with a strong presence in the Australasian market. We are looking for an Associate or Analyst to join our Japanese Corporate FX Sales team based in Sydney.
About the Role:
This role supports the FX sales team in servicing Japanese corporate clients. You'll help with client setup, deal administration, reporting, and assisting with FX transactions and solutions. The focus will be on Japanese companies operating in Australia. The training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support Japanese corporate clients with their FX needs
* Assist with FX deal execution, customer setup, and documentation
* Prepare client presentations and compliance reports
* Handle database management and reporting (daily, weekly, monthly)
* Build strong relationships with Japanese clients and internal teams
* Identify FX opportunities and support the broader FX team
* Occasionally travel for business and adjust work hours as needed
* Complete other admin and support tasks as required
What We're Looking For:
* Fluent Japanese language skills (essential)
* 2-5 years of experience in FX, banking, or corporate treasury preferred
* Experience in FX sales is helpful but not required
* Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
* A degree in Economics, Finance, or Business is preferred
* AFMA Accreditation is an advantage, or willingness to obtain it
