The role:
We are seeking an experienced Master 5 with excellent vessel handling skills to join our family owned and operated team. The successful applicant will be able to operate and manage all aspects of the company's dolphin and marine tours, crew and customer safety, as well as ensure the vessel is maintained to the highest standards and presented immaculately for our guests. Further to this the successful applicant will have experiencing in maintain and implementing the companies safety operating procedures and daily implementation of the vessel safety management plan as a minimum. There are also potential future managerial opportunities as the company continues to advance.

The position will commence as a part time role working varied hours as we are still in our peak season, up to 7 days per week operation and the ability to work as many or as few hours as desired. A full-time position will be offered to a suitable candidate and we are happy to offer flexibility within the role.
Experience required:
The successful applicant must have previous experience in similar role, knowledge of marine tourism & snorkelling activities, strong communication skills with a great work ethic. A minimum qualification of Master Class 5, MED 3 and current First Aid and relevant Southern Port Phillip Bay local knowledge certificates all AMSA issued or accredited.

* Excellent communications with crew and customers
* Attention to detail in maintaining vessel appearance and cleanliness
* Tourism industry experience preferred
Salary and benefits:
The successful applicant(s) will be offered an hourly rate of $55.00 per hour depending on experience.
