We are seeking experienced Chefs/cooks to join our dynamic team at our restaurant/tap house located in the beautiful coastal town of Dunsborough, Western Australia. As a Casual Chef/cook, you will play a vital role in delivering a premium dining experience to our customers. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise in a casual and flexible work environment.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and cooking high-quality, visually appealing meals using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients
Collaborating with the Head Chef to develop and refine menu items
Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment in adherence to health and safety standards
Providing exceptional customer service and responding to any special dietary requirements
Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of kitchen operations
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Chef/cook, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality setting
Strong working knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and culinary techniques
Excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills to thrive in a busy environment
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude
Passion for using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to create delicious, visually appealing meals
Current Food Handling Certificate or willingness to obtain one
