To be eligible to apply:

Must be a New Zealand citizen

Must have New Zealand teaching registration (therefore eligible for Teacher Registration in Tasmania)

Must have relevant qualifications in Education

Must have current or previous established skills in teaching woodwork and/or metalwork in the classroom

Provide a minimum of two professional references (One from your most recent employer)

About the process:
To be considered for the process, you must be able to demonstrate teaching skills in Materials, Design and Technology, knowledge and experience within the Australian Curriculum and be a qualified Teacher.

You must be able to obtain provisional, full or specialist VET registration granted by the Teacher Registration Board of Tasmania by February 2026 alongside a current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status - Employment/Volunteer).
