Both ongoing & fixed term roles available. n The Payroll Officer is responsible for delivering a high-quality payroll service that ensures accurate and timely payment of wages and entitlements in accordance with statutory requirements, Enterprise Agreements and organisational policies. The role supports the Payroll team with data entry, record and leave management, reconciliations, audits, and the provision of payroll information to internal and external stakeholders while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism. n Working Together | We will respond to challenges together to create a safe, quality health service The role of the Payroll Officer is to: n - Process payroll transactions including changes to pay details, leave requests, ad-hoc payments and wage calculations in accordance with payroll and hospital policies. - Ensure accuracy through timely data entry, regular audits, reconciliations (including salary packaging) and adherence to Enterprise Agreement requirements. - Respond promptly to payroll enquires, liaise with external parties regarding staff payment information, and provide payroll reports as required. - Maintain accurate filling, archiving and destruction of payroll records, ensuring all information is managed confidentially and in line with LRH policies. - Support the Payroll Operations Coordinator through issue escalation, administrative duties and contribution to payroll-related project work. About youn Ideal candidates for this role will have: n - Advanced computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn and use in-house systems. - Experience in delivering efficient administrative support with a strong understanding of confidentiality requirements. - Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and manage competing deadlines. - Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new processes and systems. - Experience using SAP, Kronos Timekeeper, or other in-house payroll software.
