Position: Bookkeeper
Type: Full-time (minimum 38 hours/week)
Location: Griffith, NSW (Hillston Workforce)
Salary: AUD 70,000–80,000 + Superannuation

Role & Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company, including accounts payable and receivable.
* Record and reconcile daily transactions using manual and computerized accounting systems.
* Monitor cash flow, manage lines of credit, and assist in budgeting.
* Prepare invoices, purchase orders, and handle bank deposits.
* Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
* Produce financial statements, budget vs actual reports, and expenditure analyses.
* Assist with preparation of business activity statements (BAS), GST reporting, and other tax-related documentation.
* Identify and report any irregularities or discrepancies in financial records to management.
* Liaise with external accountants or auditors, providing necessary documentation.
* Support payroll processing and superannuation tracking (if required).
* Maintain orderly documentation, ledgers, and ensure compliance with financial policies.
Qualifications & Experience
We are seeking someone who meets or exceeds the below key criteria:
* Qualification: A minimum of Certificate II or III in Accounting / Bookkeeping, or equivalent.
* Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of relevant bookkeeping experience in a small business or similar environment.
* Demonstrated experience with computerized accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) and Excel.
* Experience preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and managing BAS / GST reporting.
* Strong numeracy skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
* Good organisational and time-management skills, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
* Good communication skills, including the ability to liaise with internal stakeholders (management, recruiters) and external parties (accountants, auditors).
