About the Role We're seeking a dedicated Mechanical Fitter to join the Welshpool production site for an initial 2–3-month contract.
This role is vital in supporting the site during its busy peak period, ensuring equipment runs smoothly and issues are swiftly addressed.
The position offers day shifts, with optional Saturday work, and competitive pay rates depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities Attend to breakdowns on manufacturing equipment such as mixers, fillers, blow moulders, and labellers Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, valves, pumps, and other plant machinery Assist in fault diagnosis and equipment repairs to minimise downtime Support the team during the peak production period to meet operational targets Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols About You Trade qualified as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent Proven experience working in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally on beverage or similar equipment Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance and troubleshooting Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, flexible, and ready to step in during high-demand periods An understanding of health and safety standards relevant to manufacturing sites If you're a skilled Mechanical Fitter ready for your next challenge, don't miss out on this opportunity.
