The responsibilities for the Electrical Engineer will encompass the full spectrum of electrical disciplines, including the preparation of designs, specifications, reports, calculations, drawings, and cost estimations.
Job Description
Design and develop electrical systems and components for projects in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
Conduct site inspections and commissioning activities in Mackay and surrounding areas to ensure the proper installation and functioning of electrical systems.
Perform calculations, simulations, and analyses to optimize system performance and efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during project implementation and operation.
Key Criteria
As the successful candidate for the role of Electrical Design Engineer, you will meet the following criteria:
Preparation of engineering designs, specifications, calculations, and reports.
Collaborating closely with key stakeholders and clients to deliver solutions that exceed client expectations.
Advocating for and implementing digital engineering solutions.
Collaborating with other disciplines to deliver work and bring clients' ideas to life.
Holding tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering.
Demonstrated experience in the design and documentation of new buildings, as well as modifications of existing buildings.
Ability to autonomously tackle complex challenges and provide solutions through research.
