One of our Federal Government Clients is seeking to engage candidates for Principal Full Stack Software Developer - EL2

* Contract Duration: 02 Years (12 Months initially + 12 Months extension)
* Work Location: Canberra (Hybrid available, 6 - 8 weeks initial onboarding in the office would be required.)
* Eligibility: You must need to have Baseline Security Clearance or above.
* Tentative Start Date: 3rd Aug 2026
* Working Hours: 7.5 hours a day/ 38 hours a week
Role Description
Software Engineers have experience overseeing software development projects, writing optimised code, and provide technical leadership. They are responsible for the quality and functionality of the software produced by their team.
Key duties and responsibilities
* Write well-designed, maintainable and testable code and integrate software components into an existing, fully functional software system.
* Contribute to the development and on-going support of existing solutions using Agile development methods.
* Collaborate with team members and provide ad hoc advice, research and proof of concept work on architecture, components and integration.
* Participate in code quality assurance processes, such as unit testing and peer reviews for accuracy and functionality.
* Design, implement and test software components to meet the user and system requirements.
* Assist with continuous product and process improvement by identifying technological and systems deficiencies and recommending process, procedures and method improvements.
Technical skills
* Demonstrated experience in full stack development in C# / .Net Core.
* Demonstrated experience with OData RESTful API architecture.
* Demonstrated experience with Angular / Bootstrap / Typescript (specify version of Angular in your CV/response).
* Demonstrated experience with tests using .NET XUnit, Typescript Karma/Jasmine and .NET driving Selenium.
