At the forefront of our Business Banking team, you will play a pivotal role in driving exceptional customer experiences across Agribusiness channels. As a key member, your primary focus will be on managing and growing our portfolio of business customers, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, and delivering profitable growth.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with Senior Relationship Managers to develop and implement tailored solutions for Agribusiness customers, ensuring alignment with our Risk Appetite Statement. You will extract and analyse complex financial reports, providing accurate assessments to inform business decisions. Additionally, you will identify and mitigate lending risks, maximising profit from transactions while maintaining high service standards.

You will support Senior Relationship Managers in managing customer portfolios, ensuring timely and professional responses to client queries. Analyse financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and other financial reports to provide accurate assessments and recommendations. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and industry partners.

As a business development specialist, you will contribute to developing a positive and proactive Safety and Wellbeing culture, meeting all safety and wellbeing compliance requirements. Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities to build skills, knowledge, and capability.


Requirements:

* Demonstrated experience in roles requiring growth and retention of a customer base, preferably in a regional setting.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and confidently.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to make effective decisions in a timely manner.
* Commercial acumen, with an understanding of pricing, margin, expense management, and profitability principles.
* Planning and organisational skills, with the ability to establish processes and allocate resources to achieve goals.
