About the Role
Our client located in Petersham is seeking a friendly, motivated and professional Customer Service Officer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality service to the community.
You will provide accurate information and assistance to customers across multiple channels including contact centre, front counter and administrative support functions.
Key Duties
* Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and face-to-face
* Process applications, requests and complaints in Council systems
* Provide clear, accurate and consistent information
* Maintain customer records and data entry in CRM systems
* Process payments and perform end-of-day balancing
* Promote Council services and online tools
* Support contact centre, front counter and admin functions as required
* Work collaboratively to meet service standards and targets
What We're Looking For
* Experience in customer service (contact centre, front counter or admin)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage high-volume enquiries in a fast-paced environment
* Good computer skills and ability to use multiple systems
* Strong organisation and time management skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
* Relevant qualification (e.g. Certificate IV in Call Centre or Administration)
* Cash handling experience
* Driver's Licence
