**About the Role**:
As the Practice Lead - Eastern Melbourne, you will take on a pivotal leadership role, where your clinical expertise and leadership skills will drive the success of a new clinic. This position is designed not only to leverage your clinical skills but also to equip you with the business acumen necessary to thrive in this role and your future endeavours.
The position will be initially based in Fitzroy, after 3-6 months the role will be based in the Eastern Melbourne clinic that they establish.
This senior leadership position plays a pivotal role in developing and managing the efficient and effective clinical operations of our service. The role includes a mixed clinical caseload, with 50% dedicated to clinical leadership and 50% direct patient care.
We offer flexible work hours and we would consider this role on a part time basis (eg. 3-4 days a week) if you wanted to keep your private practice work.
**What You Will Do**:
- Establish a clinic in Eastern Melbourne (location to be found as part of this role), leading its development and ensuring its success
- Lead and manage a team of clinicians, ensuring high standards of clinical care
- Act as a key decision-maker in the development and implementation of clinic operations
- Engage in weekly coaching sessions with the CEO to build your expertise in business operations, including finance, marketing, and recruitment
- Drive the development of cutting-edge care models, integrating clinical excellence with sound business practices
- Collaborate closely with the executive team to shape the strategic direction of the clinic
- Manage a mixed clinical caseload, dedicating 50% of your time to clinical leadership and 50% to direct patient care
- Develop strategies for expanding services and generating additional revenue streams, with a focus on sustainability and growth
- Oversee compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring the clinic operates within the highest standards of care and professionalism
**About You**:
- 5+ years of clinical experience with significant experience in the mental health sector
- Knowledge of the Victorian Mental Health regulatory environment and best practice Clinical Governance
- Demonstrated experience working with high-risk and complex patients
- Approved tertiary qualifications enabling registration with AHPRA and the relevant professional body
- Qualifications as per Medicare Requirements (if appropriate)
- High level of computer literacy skills
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence; a current First Aid (Level 2) certificate
- A recent criminal records check (within the last 12 months)
- Holding a current "Working With Children Check" is a condition of the position
