The Offer
* Location: Deagon, QLD, 4 days onsite
* Contract: 3 years contract
* Pay Rate: A05 Level
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Advisory: Providing expert advice on project delivery communications and implementing comprehensive strategies for complex infrastructure works.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with government bodies, local residents, and internal groups.
* Content Creation: Researching and writing high-level materials, including executive correspondence, media releases, fact sheets, and speeches.
* Risk & Issue Management: Identifying potential communication risks and implementing mitigation strategies to manage project challenges.
* Community Outreach: Managing public information campaigns, resident meetings, and digital content to ensure clear and responsive communication.
Key Selection Criteria
* Exceptional Communication: Proven ability to write professionally for diverse audiences, particularly executive-level correspondence and media statements.
* Project Experience: Highly desirable experience within the infrastructure, construction, or transport sectors.
* Engagement Skills: A track record of building relationships with government stakeholders and managing community expectations.
* Resilience: The ability to remain calm and productive in challenging, fast-paced environments.
* Organization: Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines.
* Integrity: A deep understanding of public service values and ethical conduct.
