Assistant Manager & Assistant Events Coordinator
Central Lane Hotel is Gladstone's most diverse hospitality venue. We operate across multiple purpose-built spaces including a modern bistro, beer garden, bowling bar, full-size AMF bowling lanes, private karaoke room, Smart Darts (with electronic scoring) and a modern up to date gaming room - all designed to be more than just a pub.
From everyday dining to group bookings, celebrations and large-scale events, Central Lane is a fast-paced venue where multiple experiences run side-by-side every day.
We're growing and looking to add two key roles to our team.
Assistant Manager
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Venue Manager with day-to-day operations across the venue
* Lead and support front-of-house teams
* Maintain service standards, compliance and venue presentation
* Assist with rostering, stock control and operational planning
About You
* Experience in a senior supervisory or management role
* Confident leading teams in a high-volume environment
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* RMLV, RSA and RSG required
Assistant Events Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with event enquiries, bookings and coordination
* Prepare event details, run sheets and schedules
* Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
* Support events on the day as required
About You
* Experience in events, hospitality or customer service (preferred)
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach
* Available to work evenings and weekends, as required
