Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to carry out electrical safety checks, PAT testing, planned and call-out maintenance, and repairs at a client site.
The ideal candidate should have experience in facilities or mobile maintenance within the construction sector or similar, and be qualified to either Level 2/3 City and Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation and 18th edition.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out routine PPM tasks in accordance with recognised standards.
2. Perform reactive repairs as required.
3. Undertake electrical installation work as needed.
4. Collaborate with other disciplines for multi-discipline services.
5. Support weekly meeting room setups.
6. Be available for emergency works outside normal hours if needed.
7. Ensure all documentation is completed correctly for all tasks, with reactive tasks reported and recorded on the CAFM system.
8. Perform tasks as instructed by the on-site FM.
9. Respond promptly to verbal and written requests.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Industry-recognised Trade Qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, etc.).
* BS7671 18th edition qualification.
* Previous experience in the manufacturing sector is desirable but not essential.
* Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Proactive approach and ability to self-manage multiple workloads.
* IT literate.
* IPAF 3A & 3B certification.
