Johnson Controls Australia leverages our building technology portfolio, along with decades of building technology experience, to deliver comprehensive and best in class, security solutions tailored to the unique needs of our customers.As a Service HVAC Technician at Johnson Controls, you will play a vital role in maintaining and servicing the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for our clients in the Brisbane area.
This full-time role is based in our Brisbane branch and will involve on-site work at client locations.What We Offer:Work Life balance and flexibility is a key value at JCIBe well supported with our internal remote tech support and structured trainingOpportunity to train in other areas of the business including Chillers and BMSRDO or OvertimeWhat You'll Be Doing:Conducting regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of commercial HVAC systemsDiagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC equipment issues to identify the root cause and implement effective solutionsPerforming preventive maintenance tasksInstalling new HVAC equipment and components as requiredMaintaining detailed records of all work performed and equipment servicedCollaborating with the wider HVAC team to share knowledge and best practicesEnsuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standardsWhat We're Looking For:Formal qualifications in HVAC, air conditioning, or refrigeration (e.g. Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration)QLD Restricted Electrical License as a minimumDemonstrated experience as a service or maintenance technician, preferably within the HVAC industryStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve equipment issues efficientlyExcellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clientsA valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to client sitesA commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risksWhat We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits packageOngoing training and development opportunities to expand your skillsA supportive and collaborative team environmentOpportunities for career progression within a global organisationAccess to the latest HVAC equipment and technologiesOnly applicants who have a current right to work in Australia will be considered.
