About the opportunity
The Faculty of Engineering is looking for an experienced, proactive Senior Education Support and Project Officer to take on a key role in driving excellence across our education portfolio.
As second-in-command to the Education Support Manager, you will shape the student experience and contribute to education support operations and projects. Whilst this role has no direct reports, it is about leading change, influencing outcomes, and building strong connections across our schools and their education support teams.
You will manage resources, reporting, and compliance while bringing your expertise to solve challenges, streamline processes, and create meaningful impact. With broad autonomy, you'll plan, prioritise, and deliver on goals—while collaborating on projects that push education forward.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
* oversee key semester operations, including examinations, integrity, progression, appeals, results processing, and related activities
* deliver clear, high-quality written communications and documentation while providing responsive, service-oriented support to academic staff, students, and key stakeholders
* foster strong collaboration and communication by building effective relationships across the Faculty, with central units, and among all Education Support Officers to ensure a cohesive and connected approach to education services
* provide senior administrative support to academic and teaching staff, offering expert policy interpretation and procedural guidance
* enhance education processes, using feedback to drive continuous improvement
* coordinate and contribute to strategic initiatives and projects that advance education services across the Faculty and in schools
* ensure compliance and integrity by delivering timely reports.
About you
