Sales Director Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our sales team in the construction and forestry sector. This role requires a strategic leader who can drive performance, increase market share, and align sales objectives with our business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Achieve sales growth and profitability throughout the assigned territory.
* Manage asset management goals, including turnover, aging, and protecting company assets.
* Provide assistance in forecasting the right inventory mix to achieve sales and market share goals.
* Develop standard machine specifications and encourage the sale of feature-backed standards.
* Manage and develop sales employees to build a motivated workforce focused on long-term success.
* Provide feedback on future opportunities and competitive pressures.
* Maximise market-based pricing and increase margins in all equipment groups.
* Facilitate corporate sales strategy and initiatives through active participation in corporate planning.
* Recruit, train, and manage direct reports.
* Provide input on advertising, promotion, and marketing.
* Assist with negotiating sales contracts.
Qualifications and Requirements
