Storeperson / Mechanical supplier (67435) Darwin, Australia
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Storeperson to join our team at a leading mechanical supplier - Construction machinery. The ideal candidate will have a background in warehouse operations and be committed to ensuring the smooth running of our inventory management system (D365).
This is a full time role, Monday to Friday, with the view to permanent. Have work/life balance - go home every night!
Responsibilities
- Receiving and inspecting incoming shipments of mechanical supplies
- Organising and storing inventory in designated locations
- Using a forklift to move and stack materials as needed
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and transactions
- Communicating effectively with team members to coordinate order fulfillment and shipping schedules
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or storeperson role
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently, with a valid HRWL
- Reliable and responsible work ethic
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
