Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineering Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our engineers and project managers to support the planning, design, and execution of construction projects. Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepares detailed sketches, drawings, and tabulations to support the design and planning phases of civil engineering projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
2. Conducts laboratory tests and analyzes data collected from construction sites to provide critical insights and assist Civil Engineering Professionals in decision-making.
3. Assists in the inspection, organization, and supervision of civil engineering works, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
4. Supports the estimation of quantities and costs for materials and labor, contributing to the preparation of accurate project budgets and resource plans.
5. Monitors and documents construction progress, preparing regular reports to track project milestones and identify potential issues or delays.
6. Collaborates with project teams and contractors to resolve technical challenges and ensure the smooth execution of civil engineering projects.
**Requirements**:
- At least hold a **AQF Certificate IV** in Civil Engineering or a construction field.
- A degree in accounting is desirable
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with preference given to those with construction industry experience.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Bilingual in English and Chinese is preferable and familiar with both national building codes standards are strong desirable.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
