Position Description – Technical Support Officer, Irrigation and Turf Management
Opportunity to join a proactive and collaborative team as a Technical Support Officer within our Irrigation and Turf Management Team. You will play a key role in helping deliver a city‐wide irrigation renewal and replacement program in addition to providing technical support to key stakeholders within Council. Responsibilities
* Develop and review irrigation designs, technical specifications, schedules and replacement programs in line with Council policies, standards and asset management plans.
* Manage and optimise Council's Irrigation Central Control System, including system performance, upgrades, network issues and efficiency reporting.
* Provide technical advice and support to internal stakeholders, project teams and field officers, including procurement and design reviews.
* Coordinate reactive and programmed irrigation works through weekly work planning, monitoring system performance, water quality and pumping infrastructure.
* Contribute to asset management planning, continuous improvement, compliance, performance reporting and collaborative service delivery.
About You
* Certificate 3 in Irrigation Technology or equivalent experience in irrigation and turf management.
* Hold a Restricted Plumbers Licence.
* Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (White Card).
* Level 2 Procurement.
* Current Class C Drivers Licence.
* Willingness to undergo a pre‐employment medical and national police check.

Salary range is between $91,908 and $98,028 plus superannuation guarantee and will be negotiated commensurate with skills, experience and qualifications.
