Our company is seeking a Junior/Graduate Accounts Payable Officer, who will be responsible for assisting to manage all accounts payable transactions in line with our organisations Values. This position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer, based in our Maidstone Head Office.

Job Responsibilities:

* Assist with all accounts payables transactions through Pronto AP System
* Data entry of all creditor invoices, on average 100 invoices per week across different entities.
* Invoicing approval process to verify and confirm the invoices.
* Assisting on setting up payments to creditors for both local and overseas, including international payments on weekly basis.
* Assist with creditor statement reconciliations.
* Working with the Finance team to ensure correct details are noted on all invoices and exceptions and rejected batches are resolved.
* Processing of ad-hoc reports and invoices
* Database management, filing as well as other administration tasks.

What are we looking for?

* 1-3 years of experience in a Junior or graduate Accounts Payable role, preferably in a high-volume transaction environment.
* Experience in overseas payment and US ACH transactions will be highly desirable.
* Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work to strict deadlines.
* Experience working with ERP system (Pronto experience is advantageous)
* Intermediate MS Excel
* Ability to work independently.
* The confidence and ability to work proactively to problem solve.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
* Can work with volume and accurate data entry experience
* Ability to juggle competing priorities.
* Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding environment.
* Autonomous but can work as part of the team.
